Jets

The carburetor contains a pilot jet, a needle jet and a main jet with each jet working at different engine speeds, although they do overlap each others range. The pilot jet is in use when the engine is idling up until the throttle is around 1/4 open. The needle jet's range is from 1/4 throttle up to 3/4 of throttle. Above 3/4 throttle and the main jet comes into use. Check the stock specification of each jet and buy three jets that are larger and three jets that are smaller than each type. You now have six new sizes for each of the jets and can adjust the carburetor over this range.

The ideal ratio of the air to fuel mixture is 12.5 to 1
, this means that there is 12.5 times more air for every one part of fuel. Increasing the size of the jets requires that you also increase the amount of fuel entering the carburetor. Keeping the mixture as close as possible to this ratio will enable you to get the best tuning setup for your carburetor.

contoh..cam seblum ni mj 150,turun mj 135.spoket 15-34..
skrg ni motor mengerang je hujung gear..kt rpm 7 da start mengerang..
juz nak tau teori ni betul ke salah..salah tlg tunjukkan

ak pakai mj 95(bapakkk kecik) yg heran time gear 1 2 3...sedap jer tarik.....hihihi smpi rpm 7 8 9...bila top....dpt dlm 10 - 11..

selepas itu...ak naik kan minjet ker 120, 130 dan skrang 170.....ak x dpt dah top smpi RPM 10....

gear 1 2 3...tarik...cam semput3...kenapa yer??? adew apa jawapan dr otai3...???

bile minyak da kurang..campuran minyak dan angin lebih cun..hujung2 rpm sng je nk pegi..smooth je..
bile da set mnyk lebih...mnyk da lebih dari angin..sbb tu ade rase bobok..
tp takpe kot..sesuai utk maintain topspeed..

p/s: mantap gile moto dpt 11k rpm

clucth plate br tukar skali (4-5 bulan lepas kot)..
paip buang sarang tgh ja..

berat aku dlm 80-90 (cam tayar lak.haha)
set mj n pj = 190 n 22.5
ok ke tu? tp long cm ta sedap lg la..(pikup mmg ok,tp long dpt 160-170 ja)
n moto ad semput2 skit masa bw 80-100km/h..
bole ke aku turun kn smpai pj 160/150?? n pj aku naek 25..

lg 1 prob aku,moto aku bila tarik ujung2 dia xbla knpa ea??
bysa enjin meneran,tp moto na pg je,tp moto aku meneran tp moto cm2 ja..
ad kene mengena ngn set carb ka??

carb rxz mmg camtu bro..berat sikit..sbb diameter 26mm..4mm lebih besar dari 125z..
angin lebih da tu..setting mainjet pon mcm lebih gak tu..suppose boleh blah tp mungkin sbb blok kot..
blok da buat byk ke?
yg plg pntg..blok..baru disapot oleh carb...
kalau blok biase2 je..pakai carb ape pon..tak leh blah jgk..
tp kalau blok da power..pakai carb stendet..mmg lembab..pakai carb besar baru rase mantap...all out la power die org ckp..

situasi ni berlaku pd kwn aku sndri..
LC135 blok racing tah brape kali rebore pon tak tau..
pakai carb stendet..set mnyk lebih2 pon..170 je..
pakai carb tzm..baru dpt 200km/h..

lagi satu..kalau mainjet besar sgt..top mmg ngerang je lebih..
kadang time freegear pon..susah je nk dpt rpm 12..
mcm moto aku skrg..freegear dpt rpm11 je..
nmpk sgt kt hujung2 rpm mnyk still lebih..
peduli ape org nk ckp moto tak pikap..
jom try test maen long..insyaallah smpai mnyk dlm tank abes pon tak jem2 lagi..
hu3..ape aku merepek ni..

mcm kes ko ni..byk posibility..
tibe2 gear 6 mengerang?
sproket setting da cantik da tu..
mungkin gear 6 ko da kene curik dgn pomen kot..
ha3..
kalau pakai gear 6 rxz ataupun pape yg lebih besar dari 125z..
response dari gear 5 tuka gear 6 cepat je..
masuk gear 6 bedesup pegi..
tp sbb ratio tu da besar..top speed mengerang la die..
bab2 gear ni kene pndai maen ratio..
ramai je tak puas hati aku ckp gear 5 rpm 10 leh dpt 180 dgn 15/35..
kate meter ringan la mende la..
padahal dorang tak tau maen ratio..
ah sudah..sudah..merepek jauh da ni..

kesimpulannye..aku rase setting mainjet ko tak brape cun..
aku pon kadang2 gear 5 lembab je..tuka gear 4 tarik rpm tggi2 baru leh kejar org depan..
tp gear 6 senyum jela Twisted Evil

lg 1,bkn gear 5 je jd cm2.. kira aku tarik tiap2 gear pown sama.
aku ta ley na tarik pnjang.. kena masuk gear.. da mcam lc lak coz lc pown mna ley tarik pnjang kn. hehe..
xpe2..pape pown thnkx wan!

kalo cm2 set a spoket skali..besar sgt 2..xleh nk tarik panjang2..ko set a turun skit2 smpai rase top xmati..depan maintain 15..
papepun set a carb 2 dulu..try rem..kalo hujung2 rpm ringan tambah a minyak..jem ti..
